Jeffree Star "Beauty Killer" Palette Review and Swatches!

Hello beauties! I hope you all are having a wonderful Thursday!

Today is all about Jeffree Star and his incredible new eyeshadow palette!!

If you weren't on MySpace during Jeffree Star's regime, I'll definitely feel old. He was once a punk-rock artist who made his fame through his music ("Prom Night" will alway make me feel nostalgic) until he broke out into the cosmetics industry with a few liquid lipsticks. A few years later, his business boomed, and he now makes an entire living off it, his products are continuously selling out, shade after shade, with giantelaunches and new colors coming out every couple of months!!

Jeffree recently released his first ever makeup palette, entitled Beauty Killer for his day as a musician. It features ten beautifully pigmented shades, ranging from soft mattes to beautiful shimmers and wild colors. I was a little hesitant to buy this at first when I saw him swatch it on camera, but ended up purcheasing it on a whim, and I'm so glad I did!.

Packaging: The front of the palete is pink with the title of the palette in beautiful script and Jeffree's famous star logo on the top in banner-formation. Inside, there's a mirror, and then ten colors wit this logo imprinted on each of them (they look a little fudged in my picture above because I had been swatching them!) Overall, it's a decent size, anf feels sturdy in my hand. I was please with the decorations and the names of the colors and definitely true to Jeffree's style. The palette reflects him and his role in the cosmetic game to a tee.

Colors: Like I stated previously, there are ten colors (all swatched below). The top row features Star Power, a matte hot pink; Princess, a fair lavender shimmer; Violence, a medium-tone burgundy; Rich Bitch,  a golden shimmer, and Courtney, a matte brown. On the bottom, we have Expensive, a deep blue teal shimmer, Confession, a medium-tone reddish purple shimmer; Vanity, a deep matte purple/pum; China White, a matte white, and Black Rainbow, a gorgeous true-black with a little flecks of colored shimmer (It's unlike anything you've ever seen -- swatches don't do it justice).

Formula: Jeffree Star definitely puts his entire life, heart, and soul into his products, and his lipsticks were nooo disappointment. In fact, a lot of people have been constantly raving about the texture, formula, and consistency, making them easily one of the best on the market. His eyeshadow palette is nothing less; all 10 shades are extremely pigmented and buttery, easy to blend and diverse enough to make anyone (almost) as daring as he is! In addition, the entire palette is made vegan and cruelty free-- something he personally supports and I totally respect.

Price: He's had several restocks for his palette and it's around $45 before taxes, which is a fairly decent price for the range of colors you receive, their sizes, and the amazing formula. The colors can be a little intimidating, but I can't wait to play around with them to see what kind of amazing look I can achieve!
