Hello everyone! I hope your day is going well!

This blog post is great for everyone. From beginners who are just starting out learning about makeup, to the more experienced in makeup! I think no matter how experienced you may be, it's always nice to learn new tips and tricks!!

Step One: Moisturizer

Applying makeup is an art. Smooth, supple skin is your best material.
To achieve this you need moisturizer!
Wash your face and then apply liberally, giving your skin a few minutes to absorb the lotion.

Step Two: Primer

Primer helps prepare your skin for concealer and foundation., ensuring they go on better and stay on longer! It also conceals flaws and minimizes pore visibility.
Apply on your face and neck.

Step Three: Concealer

Use concealer to cover any blemishes on your skin. Dab it carefully over problem areas and then blend out with your fingers or concealer brush. Pick and concealer that is slightly lighter then your skin color.

Step Four: Foundation

Select a foundation that matches your natural skin tone.
Apply it in small blotches on your chin, cheeks and forehead and then blend it to cover your entire face. Keep it even to ensure a natural, flawless finish.
I prefer to use a makeup brush to blend out my foundation, but using your fingers to blend out your foundation works just as well!

Step Five: Highlighter and Bronzer

Highlighter and bronzer make your face look more sculpted and defined.
Highlighter should be lighter then your natural skin tone, while bronzer should be a bit darker.
Apply bronzer under cheekbones and jawline to sculpt the face and make it appear smaller.
Apply highlighter very lightly to the tops of your cheekbones to give you a more dewy finish. It also makes you look more awake and sun kissed! I just love the way it pulls your whole makeup look together!
(Can you tell highlighter is one of my favorite makeup products! lol)

Step Six: Blush

Add blush to give your face a pleasant glow.
Locate the apples of your cheeks by smiling and then apply all the way back to your hairline.

Step Seven: Eyebrow Pencil

Beautiful eyes are essential! Make then stand out with a eyebrow pencil.
Follow the natural line of your brow using a color that is slightly lighter then your hair.

Step Eight: Shadow, Liner and Mascara

Give depth and definition to your eyes with shadow and liner.
Use three shades of eye shadow, starting with the lightest color under your eyebrow and the darkest color in your crease and eyelid. Blend, Blend, Blend so that there are no harsh lines!
Then apply eye liner along the lid directly above your lashes.
Use mascara to coat and seperate your lashes, giving them a thick and healthy look!

Step Nine: Lipstick, Liner and Gloss

Lipstick is one of the most flexible parts of your look.
You can mix and match colors based on your look, mood or outfit that day!
Evenly apply a thin line of lip liner to your lips, then apply your lipstick making sure to blend it with your lip liner.
If you want your lips to be even more glossy, apply a clear gloss on top!

Step Ten: Evening Glamour

A few easy touch-ups will turn your day time makeup look into an evening-ready style.
Adding some blush will highlight your cheekbones. You can also use some darker eye liner for a more daring look. Finally, get ready to dazzle with bright red lipstick!
