Day 3: Clean Your Refrigerator & Freezer {Spring Cleaning Made Easy} at lifeyourway.net

Cleaning your refrigerator can seem like a big task, but your can knock this out in no time with these tips. Lets get started!
( Some people suggest that you unplug your refrigerator and store your food in coolers while your cleaning. This is something that you could do if you feel like you don't want to waste energy. )

1. Check expiration dates. Throw out anything that has gone bad and items that you will never use that have been sitting for awhile.
2. Take out shelves and drawers and clean with warm soapy water.
Include a wipe down of the inside or your refrigerator as well as stuck on spills and messes.
3. Then reorganize! Organizing your refrigerator gives you a better view of what you have. When organized, food doesn't get forgotten about and you have a better view of what's inside!

Living Room!

To revive drab drapes, take them down, remove hooks and run them through an air-fluff cycle in the dryer with a damp towel (to attract the dust) for 15 minutes. Re-hang immediately. Wipe blinds with a damp cloth.

Keep Tops Of Pictures Clean By Using a Lambswool Duster

Dust your home thoroughly. Take everything off shelves, tabletops and dressers to dust. Now is also the time to get to all the places you've been neglecting throughout the year, including ceiling fans, above kitchen cabinets and baseboards and doorways.

~Bedrooms~

Vacuum and Maintain mattress Regularly

Buying a nice mattress can be expensive, and you want it to last. But over time, mattresses can wear unevenly. So, extend the life of your mattress by vacuuming it and turning at least four times per year, alternating between end-over-end and side-over-side rotation.

Underbed Storage

It's time to put away those winter clothes! Instead of having them take up space in your closet,
switch out cool-weather clothing for warm-weather clothes. Be sure to wash or dry-clean winter clothing and store them in clear bins!

Now that the weather is getting warmer, it's time to get outside and clean up!
Sweep away those pesky leaves and dirt that has blown in this past winter by sweeping away debrie from sliding glass door tracks and porches and patios.

Upholstery Cleaning

Wash outdoor furniture. Dishwashing detergent works great for most materials!
Or you could use a multi purpose solution, but make sure that it doesn't fade or stain the material.
