D.I.Y Coffee Body Scrub Recipe AKA Mud Scrub!!

I love body scrubs, and lately I have been making my own, so I thought why not share this great recipe with you all! This recipe is Coffee Body/Facial Scrub! There are so many benefits to making your own scrubs. First, you know what's inside your scrubs, ingredients that will benefit your skin instead of chemicals that can harm it.
Let me break it down for you.

                                                                                        


Now the reason that I love this coffee scrub, or other scrubs in general is because of all the benefits from it! Coffee, not only a great exfoliant, the caffeine in coffee helps the skin keep it's elasticity, brightens and awakens the skin and even will give you a little pick me up in the morning! Not to mention it also makes this scrub smell AMAZING! That alone will give you a pick me up! lol Olive oil moisturizes leaving you with the vitamins that help heal dry skin. Honey has a antibacterial agent that also helps heal as it moisturizes
.
Here is the Recipe:

  I like to mix my dry ingredients first.
Depending on how much you want to make,
you can add more or less to each ingredient.

Ingredients:

1. 2 Tbs. Ground Coffee (Any kind will do,
I like to use freshly ground coffee, it might be just me, but I feel there might be more benefits to fresh coffee.)
2. 2 Tbs. Sugar (Granulated sugar will work just
fine, but you can also use organic sugar if
desired)
3.  3 Tbs. Extra Virgin Olive Oil (Any type of oil will work for this as well, such as Almond Oil.)
4. 2 Tbs. Fresh Honey

Directions:

Measure out all ingredients into a bowl. Mix until completely combined. Add more liquid or dry ingredients if you find the scrub is to think or liquidity.
Place scrub in a air tight container, such as a mason jar or Tupperware container.
This coffee scrub will last for up to 6 weeks if contained properly, or if you are obsessed with using it!

This scrub also makes a great gift to friends, co-workers, and neighbors for Valentines Day!
